Vote Pencil - graphic Last week, hundreds of BOMA members met with more than 200 U.S. Representatives and Senators to discuss the most pressing issues facing the commercial real estate industry, as part of the Winter Business Meeting & National Issues Conference. Members took to the Hill to advocate for infrastructure investment, ADA lawsuit reform and the preservation of ENERGY STAR. These meetings provided lawmakers and their staff with first-person insight into how these issues are affecting building owners and managers on a day-to-day basis.

Learn more about BOMA's priority issues and access materials used during the conference on BOMA's 2018 Legislative Priorities and the Tax Reform Bill Analysis webpages. BOMA staff will be following up on these meetings in the coming weeks to help further our industry's priorities. And, if you participated in the congressional visits, it's not too late to submit your feedback online.
