Sammie Baker - picSammie Baker, CPM, RPA, Endeavor Commercial Real Estate

Sammie has over 23 years of commercial property experience managing high rise office, suburban office, medical office, and retail centers. Sammie is currently working with Endeavor Real Estate Group and previously worked with Parkway Properties, Thomas Properties, Cousins Properties, Yancey Hausman, Kucera Management and Hines. Prior to commercial property management, Sammie spent 18 years in multi-family residential construction as an office manager.

Most notably, Sammie has managed Frost Bank Tower since September of 2005. Frost Bank Tower was the first downtown high rise office building in Austin to earn the LEED Gold O&M Certification in December of 2010 and has just recertified as Gold in 2015. Frost Bank Tower also earned the BOMA 360 Designation and was a local BOMA TOBY recipient three times and won Regional BOMA TOBY in 2017. In 2015, Frost Bank Tower won an Ebie Award from the Urban Green Council in “It Takes a Village” category and was a finalist in 2014. Sammie has both her RPA through BOMA and her CPM through IREM. She is a past-President of IREM Austin also holds her LEED Green Associate designation from GBCI.

Chad Williams - picChad Williams, MBA, Avison Young

Chad Williams’ career in real estate began with him first overseeing property management, construction management, and engineering operations as Assistant Vice President for Moore & Associates, for a total portfolio size of approximately 700,000 square feet. After moving to Cushman and Wakefield, he built and managed property operations and construction/project management for the Austin and San Antonio markets, and was responsible for approximately 3.5 million square feet of inventory. In his role at Avison Young, Chad will be responsible for building property and construction management service lines throughout the state of Texas. Mr. Williams’ experience includes business development, the complete repositioning and renovation of vacant assets, and the management of over $95 million of capital and tenant improvements.

Chad earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from St. Edward’s University. Chad served a total of sixteen years in the United States Air Force, gaining a broad range of experience including special tactics, resource protection, installation security, and Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection and ultimately attaining the rank of Master Sergeant prior to his Honorable Discharge in 2006. He is a licensed real estate salesman in the state of Texas, a member of RECA, and sits on the board of directors for BOMA Austin. He is also involved with Breakthrough Austin, and hosts an annual golf tournament to raise funds to support their mission of providing a path to college for first-generation college graduates.

Pat Goerner is a Senior Property Manager with over 30 years’ experience in managing commercial properties – office, medical and retail. Pat has earned both the Real Property Administrator and Commercial Property Manager designations as well as maintains a Texas Real Estate license. She has been a BOMA Austin member for over 20 years during which she served as the Public Relations Chair, Board of Directors, Secretary-Treasurer, President Elect, President and is the current Past President.

Jennifer Flynn - picJennifer Flynn, HPI Real Estate Services

Jennifer Flynn serves as a Property Manager with HPI Real Estate Services where she manages an office portfolio. She has been working in commercial real estate since 2009 and during that time has been employed with Aspen Properties, Live Oak Gottesman, Endeavor, CBRE and Kucera managing a mixture of both office and retail portfolios. Jennifer has been a BOMA member since 2009 serving on committees, held a co-chair position and a Board member position since 2015. She is currently the Board Liaison for the Membership Committee and is working on her RPA through BOMI.

Karisa Johnson - picKarisa Johnson - CPM, RPA, Transwestern

Karisa Johnson is Vice President of Management Services with Transwestern and oversees a portfolio of approximately 2.5 million square feet of office, industrial and medical properties. Karisa’s staff includes 3 property managers, 4 administrative assistants and 10 engineers. Her primary roles include property takeover and management transition, client and tenant satisfaction, enhancing value and asset preservation for clients. She received her RPA designation from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) in 1999 and received her CPM® from the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is past BOMA Austin President, Texas BOMA President and BOMA Southwest Region President. She has served on the Programs Committee and regional TOBY Committee.

Marc Krohn - picMarc Krohn, RPA,CPM, The RMR Group

Marc has worked in the commercial real estate industry for over 22 years. He is currently the Area Director for The RMR Group overseeing all real estate operations to include leasing, management, construction management, engineering, customer service acquisitions and dispositions for diverse portfolio of office, medical and industrial properties in Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.

Prior to joining The RMG Group, Marc was the Managing Director for CBRE providing leadership and strategic direction for Asset Services in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky Austin, San Antonio and El Paso. He also worked for Duke Realty in Cincinnati and Zeller Realty in Minneapolis where he began his career in the commercial real estate industry.

Marc has been very active in IREM and BOMA over the years. He has chaired a number of committees, lobbied for reform at state capitals and served on the BOMA and IREM Board of Directors in Cincinnati and Minneapolis. Marc is the past recipient of the Future of BOMA award in Minneapolis and CPM of the Year in Cincinnati. Marc has been very involved in TOBY. He served on the International Awards Committed which was tasked with rewriting the criteria for the TOBY and Earth Awards. He is a past local, regional and international TOBY judge and while at Duke Realty, his team in Cincinnati won an International TOBY award in the Industrial category which was the first TOBY ever received in Cincinnati.

Marc is a graduate of Youngstown State University in Ohio. He received his Bachelor in Business Administration majoring in Finance and Economics. He holds the RPA and CPM designations and is a licensed Realtor in Texas and Ohio. He is midway through the completion in pursuing the CCIM designation.

When Marc is not working…he is working. But when he does have free time, he enjoys running, tennis and playing golf (albeit badly) but most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 12 year old son who plays soccer year around.

Amy Newsom - picAmy Newsom, Cousins Properties Inc.

Amy Newsom serves as a Property Manager with Cousins Properties, Inc. at Colorado Tower in downtown Austin where she has been since 2014 when the building was completed & opened. Amy’s extensive background in customer service roles has provided her with the knowledge and experience to work closely with her customer base and provide the utmost in Class A service. Amy also serves as a mentor & trainer to the emerging professionals on the Cousins Austin team. Prior to working at Cousins, Amy held progressively responsible positions with Thomas Properties, Grubb & Ellis & Crescent Real Estate Equities at 816 Congress. She has been a BOMA Austin member since 2007, an AAFAME member since 2012 and is currently working on her RPA through BOMI. In 2015-16 she has served as the Vice-Chair of the BOMA Community Outreach Committee focusing on projects to benefit Community First! located in East Austin.

Thomas Pannkuk - picThomas Pannkuk, FMA, Texas Municipal League

Thomas Pannkuk serves as Property Manager with Texas Municipal League at the Texas Municipal Center in the Walnut Creek Business Park. He has Managed the property since 1994. Thomas’s knowledge of building systems and construction coupled with his customer service is why he has been there for almost 23 years. Prior to Property Management, Thomas worked in the mechanical field 11 years serving employment by Johnson Controls, Wattinger Service and Young and Pratt. Thomas has been a BOMA member since 1996. He earned his FMA through BOMI in 2004. He has also served on several committee’s through the years and on the BOMA BOD twice.

Julia Taylor - picJulia Taylor, CPM, Moore & Associates, Inc.

Julia Taylor, Executive Vice President joined Moore&Associates, Inc. in 2008 to lead the firm’s Austin portfolio. Julia has 30 years of commercial real estate experience including leasing, property management, asset management and tenant construction. Previous affiliations: CBRE, Kucera Management and REIT Management. Julia is a CPM, and is a member of IREM, BOMA, CBA, RECA and CCIM.

Bert Schnoebelen - picBert Schnoebelen, Director of Business Development

Mr. Schnoebelen joins Structure Tone to help the Austin team better hone their strategy for growth. Ten years ago, Schnoebelen entered the construction field after serving in the US Marine Corps. His focus markets in Austin include both ground-up and interior work for commercial, healthcare, high-tech and residential buildings across the region. Schnoebelen is extremely active in the greater Austin community, serving on the board of directors for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Austin and project manager for the construction of the Austin Sunshine Camp's new facility in Zilker Park. He also volunteers for such programs as the Coastal Conservation Association and First Tee of Greater Austin.
